Luther College, founded in 1861, is a residential, liberal arts college of approximately 2,600 students. The Pioneer Memorial is dedicated to the founding congregations whose vision established the college nearly 150 years ago. A college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Luther welcomes students of all beliefs and backgrounds.
